May 19th-31st

May 19th
B's Preschool Graduation.  She'll be in Kindergarten this fall!

May 20th
Jake fell asleep nursing in bed.  He was so sweet.

May 21st
Right after the big race.  The babies (Em) "ran" about 100 meters and the big kids (B) ran 1 lap.  She finished 2nd behind an almost 7 year-old.  She ran the whole thing without stopping.  Way to go!

May 22nd
B loves to line up things in rows.  I thought this one was funny.

May 23
Just look at this beautiful boy!

May 24th
I'm loving my book "Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day" and "Healthy Bread in 5 Minutes a Day".  Yummy, homemade french dip rolls.

May 25th
Our yummy dessert that I made up.  Nilla wafers, chocolate and vanilla pudding layers, whipped cream and bananas.  YUM!

May 26th
The girls read together.  So cute.  B actually "read" (told the story as well as she could) to E.  Awesome!

May 27th

Me with my b-day presents.  B actually took this picture.

May 28th
My newly planted Mother's Day calla lillies.

May 29th
No wonder this child falls out of bed!  Don't worry, we moved her after the photo.

May 30th
J enjoying the great outdoors...and some wind.

May 31st
Off to Grandma's!

May 1st-18th

This month got a little bit chaotic.  I had a lot of skin problems (which equated to very little sleep, which made for a grouchy mom who was in a lot of pain) in the beginning of the month and pictures got put on hold.  I tried to catch up later, but finally thought of it as a break.

May 3rd
This is me with my eyes completely swollen and some of my cheeks as well.  It doesn't look all that bad in the pictures, but it hurt like crazy!

May 4th

Jake and all the kids were clean and ready for bed before bedtime (some kind of record!)

May 5th
Emma likes to sample fruit from the bowl while I nurse her brother.  She knows that during that time she has free reign of the house.

May 7th
I was still feeling terrible, so I let the girls stay in pjs all day and jump on the couch.

May 8th
Emma being maternal.  It's really funny.  Sometimes she is so rough and tumble that I think she's not got a gentle bone in her body.  Then the next thing I know, she's rocking something to sleep.  Shoes, dolls, toilet paper...they all get lullabys and rocking.

May 18th
I cooked dinner.  Though it was only eggs and fruit from a can, it was a little bit balanced.  Yay!  I must have been feeling better.
